She is survived by sons, Michael Hopkins, William (Michelle) Hopkins, and daughter Jessica (Brian) Wittmayer grandchildren Cody (KaSandra) Hopkins, Wyatt Hopkins, Liam Wittmayer, Evvi Wittmayer great-grandchild, Isla Hopkins.Ī graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Marty was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Cardot and Virgene Cardot. Everyone who met Marty was an instant friend. She loved to give and to make everyone laugh. Her hobbies were reading, gardening, and hitting a good garage sale. Fried fish, homemade pie, and a good conversation were a few of her favorite things. She enjoyed learning and growing in God through church and Bible study. Marty was a loving mother and grandmother. She is the sister of Anita Heaton, Camille Plunk, Mary Wilkinson, Cathy Parkinson, and Carol Wages. Marty was born in Canton, Illinois in 1949 to Clifford and Virgene Cardot. She also worked for the Astoria Christian Church as a janitor retiring in August of 2016. Surviving are three daughters, Joyce Stambaugh, Christy (and Keith) Lehman, Jean (and Herb, Jr. Betty was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Donal, Ronal and Devere Wickert. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2000. She was born on Septemin Pleasant Township near Ipava, IL, the daughter of Charlie and Mabel (Cass) Wickert. Betty (Wickert) Clemens, 99, of Astoria, IL, passed away at 9:40 pm on Sunday, at her home.
