It's great - until he's in the middle of the Christmas rush at Kohl's). I eyed dad since, well, that's his ringtone (he's a little deaf and the clucking sound is in the range he can pick up easily. Mom, Dad, hubby and I were just sacked out in our chairs, a couple other parties nearby, and we hear a cluck. But the other was just hanging out like it was just another day at the lake. One of the birds, well, she wasn't happy. There were two GORGEOUS birds being held by a couple - a couple who were introducing the birds to family members. It's not often you see other cove goers wandering by with their chickens. Now, we're used to folks wandering by with kids and dogs on leashes, but today? Today we saw something new. I'm really glad we got there early, before church let out - the place filled UP after that. We hung out at a picnic table, chatted, watched the water and those who ARE outdoorsy and just chilled out. We went up today for father's day lunch - no hiking, no boating (we're not exactly what you'd call "outdoorsy").
